My husband and myself are now registered back at Withymore. This afternoon I came into the surgery to book a diabetic review. I was greeted with such a kind welcome back from the 2 such friendly receptionists. They promptly dealt with my request without any problem and with a smile too. I’m so glad we are registered with withymore surgery again. Thank you.

placed request into surgery at 9.30am by 10.30am I had been contacted by the surgery seen by a doctor face to face , diagnosed and collected medication from pharmacist

After the surgery closed I contacted them via the app asking if I could bring forward an appointment to see the nurse. The next morning I had a call offering me an appointment that same day. When I attended I was seen on time by an efficient, professional and friendly nurse. Transferred to this practice 3 months ago and had a number of appointments and communications with them. I can’t fault them! They have excellent communication and every person I’ve come into contact with has been helpful and professional.

I phoned at 8am. Had an acceptable 12 minute wait in queue to speak after which i received a phone call inviting me to book an appointment in practice. Appointment same morning. Brilliant. Now booked an x-ray to follow soon. This practice service combined with an easy web booking system seems to be doing the right job.

Everyone at aw Surgeries are really helpful and kind. The Receptionists, office staff, nurses and doctors are first class. Personally, I cannot thank them enough for all their care.

I have had a condition which has meant I have needed to see a clinician several times in the last few weeks. I got the appointments and referrals that I needed when I needed them and all the staff that I encountered have been helpful, polite, kind and considerate, I could not have asked for better care. Thank you everyone for the hard work you are all doing to keep us all safe and well.

Saw GP today and the young doctor was wry through and excellent good practice giving me time and really listened to me He spent 40-50 minutes with me and signposted me to various departments for treatments and follow ups Advised and prescribed medication And felt well cared for and would see him again

After approaching the reception staff for help requesting an acute medication prescription I was told to go online and do it. What a farce! At every opportunity on the website I was directed toward online repeat prescription requests through patient access…it is not a repeat…it’s acute! So off I went again to the practice only to be told again”you can make a request on our website”great, So I’ve been told! The website is sooooo convoluted it is almost impossible to find. After nearly 45 minutes I eventually found what I was looking for…yippee! I only found the form by pressing I am not registered for online services…what?!? Clearer help and advice would make the world of difference. I was so frustrated I almost gave up and was on the verge of tears.

Dear Patient , Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you have experienced trouble in obtaining your repeat prescription. If you would like to contact the surgery referring to this post then we can send you the link directly to your phone for you to access the website repeat prescription request page. Please note if you click 'not registered for online' it takes you to a page where you have to manually type in your items, where as if you are registered ( i.e for the Patient Access) then it pre populates the items of your prescription for you. Alternatively you can register for the NHS App to request prescriptions. We also receive paper requests at the front desk at both of our surgeries. You can post the paper requests in the secure letter box at both sites during closed times. Kind Regards AW Surgeries

Phone booking system is a joke - can be waiting over an hour - to get to talk to someone - No option to send a simple e.mail - and you cant send a prescription request on line unless its in office hours - unbelievable - No one ever gets back to you to say that yoru prescription has been done - so again unless you ring up and wait to get through the only other way is to go to the Pharmacy and hope its ready and thats its all there - which again isnt always the case Must do better - really no excuse for such poor service Thanks

Dear Patient Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry that you are not happy with the appointment system. We introduced a triage system where by all enquiries received are triaged by the on call GP to ascertain both the timescale and the type of care professional that our patient(s) need to seen by. Patients are able to contact the practice via our website. We close the site during out of hours and direct traffic to alternative provisions for patient safety. If you wish to request a repeat prescription during closed times then you can post a paper request into the secure letter box on either site. I will feed back to the team about not being notified that your prescription has been actioned and look to see what we can do to improve this.
