Having rarely visited the doctor prior to August this year when I needed follow up from a stroke the practice was incredible— from the doctor, receptionists and pharmacist. I feel sure they went “ above and beyond” to help me. As I have moved area I have regretfully had to leave the practice but I highly recommend it.

After having minor surgery at the hospital then needed follow up care at the doctors. In the end I had to check back in at the hospital as the after care from Ashtrees was appalling! They won't even give you dressings for your wound!!!

My GP referred me to a range of specialists including Haematology and Hearing. I have received prompt attention from all concerned. My GP spent time with investigating and discussing my concerns. In addition the many occasions I have had with your team of District Nurses has been superb. I have received exemplary care and consideration at all times. I am very pleased with all aspects of my care at Ashtrees Surgery.

I've had to phone the surgery on many occasions over the last 2 years and whoever I speak to whether it be patient advisors, nurses or GPs everyone is always extremely helpful and quick to respond to problems. Thank you.

Just one example today. Phoned 8:00am. 9 people in queue but answered within 10 minutes. Promised me a call back from "UrgentCare" to attend to wound on leg. Call back 8:50 - Appointment given with nurse for 11:20. Receptionist and GP both had friendly and personal approach making one feel. cared for. I've been with them for twenty years and despite GP's (in general) difficulties over recent years Ash Trees have always maintained a properly organised service. Well done!

Outstanding combination of total professional competence with genuine friendliness. The whole continuing process of treatment has been flawless, effective and timely. Could not ask for more. Excellent.

Appointment scheduled for my 7wk old baby, not seen on time by 1.5hrs. Receptionist would not help with resolving this issue. Did not bring milk for baby as was deemed a 'quick review. So baby in distress waiting..not acceptable to leave a baby waiting with no milk.

I haven’t seen a doctor since moving here 15 months ago. I had a medication review in January and I rang in June for an appointment just to speak on the phone and it was a week before I could get an appointment. The doctor rang me early and couldn’t get me off the phone quick enough I was given one minute of his time and he said “thank you good bye” and hung up

We are sorry you felt let down by this. We are short of GPs across the whole country and this means waiting times have increased - which none of us wish to see. We are trying our hardest to do all we can for our patients and we hope the situation improves soon.

Have phoned for my blood results...once seen by a doctor, for over 12 months. Was told yesterday by irate receptionist that this no longer possible as they had changed the rules. I had to come down specially and get a printed result. Did this and was told by lovely receptionist that this was not true, and I could still get results over phone?????

If the GP has not yet commented then our team won't be able to pass on a comment. You can get copies of your results printed out. We hope results may be available on the NHS App soon as well so this will be easier for you.
