  3. Review titled About the appointment

Rated 3 stars out of 5

by Md khaled ujjaman Chudry - Posted on 18 May 2024

I have tried 2 times to get the appointment by the consult and they have given my the appointment but both of the time no one called me. It’s very unfair and negligent service.

  4. Review titled Dr lacks care and is very dismissive

by Adewunmi - Posted on 17 May 2024

Went to see Dr on 17.05. I suffer from mental health and was trying to let the doctor know how I was feeling. The doctor acted as if i was bothering him, was very dismissive and acted like he wanted to be somewhere else. I feel more stressed now than I did before. Would not want to see him again.

  5. Review titled Concerns About Reception Staff Behaviour

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Md khaled ujjaman Chudry - Posted on 05 June 2024

I am compelled to share my recent experiences with the reception staff at Angel Surgery, which have been deeply concerning and disappointing. My wife, who has learning difficulties and other medical conditions, has faced repeated instances of unprofessional and insensitive behavior from the receptionists. During her last visit on June 4th, 2024, she sought assistance for booking an appointment due to her inability to use online systems. Rather than receiving the help she needed, she was met with questions about her literacy skills, which was irrelevant to her request and felt discriminatory. This is not the first time she has been treated in such a manner. Requests for essential information like her GP summary have been met with mockery, leaving her feeling undermined and distressed. The reception area is a crucial touchpoint for patients and should represent the values of empathy, respect, and professionalism that are expected in healthcare. The treatment my wife has received is far from these standards, and it raises serious concerns about the training and suitability of the reception staff for their roles, especially in dealing with vulnerable patients. I urge the management to address these issues promptly to ensure that all patients, regardless of their abilities, are treated with the dignity and support they deserve.

  6. Review titled No care for patients. The worst practice.

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 20 March 2024

I had a telephone appointment today with Dr shanti, he closed the phone on me because i challenge him as i had concerns from my blood test. He simply doesn’t care for any patients and would recommend using other GP’s. Further to this, getting an appointment from this surgery is impossible and if you do manage to get an appointment they will rush you out in 10mins before you mention the issue you are having. A doctor also recommended using something that’s I shouldn’t after reading the product online.

  7. Review titled Unorganised and inconsiderate

Rated 2 stars out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 12 February 2024

Waiting in the queue for a while with toddler and completely dismissed without apology when it was my turn but a man butted in. Waited a while before nurse came out to say that they have run out of the medication that my toddler required. The appointment was made a week prior. She said the reception would not know if they had the medication which I find to be highly disorganised. However, the nurse could have checked her appointments for the day and informed us of this at least first thing in the morning instead of me having a wasted journey especially after having taken time off work to do so. Inconsiderate and not even apologetic. This is not the first time the nurse's tone has been rude and patronising. There needs to be better communication and commitment between all stakeholders in the practice. They never seem to know what's going on. The receptionists always seem like they have been asked to do something complicated when asked a simple query.

  8. Review titled Awful Receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 02 January 2024

Receptionist hung up on me when I requested help with the new online booking system as my specific mental health issues were not in amung the options I could request. I asked if she would help me go through the new process with me and she hung up on me. This is shocking, I sufffer with BPD and Manic Depression and not helping me could potentially lead to serious consequences for myself. You would think an NHS team would care about people. Shocking

  10. Review titled In helpful gp receptionist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Simpson - Posted on 31 January 2024

I received a call from the receptionist on the 31-01-24 at 13:37 she was so nasty and so rude she refused to answer any question I had because she said she didn’t have time to deal with extra questions They treat people so poorly no respect for the users of the service constantly telling a service user to go on r consult because you don’t want to deal with queries is very poor Please be reminded that you guys work for the community have some compassion when speaking and dealing with queries it doesn’t take a min to be kind I’m so disgusted with the service i received and watched other service users receive it’s sad
