Visited the practice for an appointment for my mom and was really impressed. Reception staff were really friendly and the doctor we saw was excellent. Really impressed with service.

I have recently moved to the Walsall area meaning I needed to join a new surgery. After good recommendations from family in the area, I joined Ambar Medical Centre and never looked back! I called the surgery to arrange an appointment for myself and upon calling, the reception staff were very friendly and accommodating! They offered me a GP appt within a few days - I did not have to wait weeks and weeks like my previous surgery! I found out that there are pharmacists and paramedics etc that also work here so depending on what query I have, I know I will be redirected to the appropriate healthcare professional. Very impressed with the services offered at this surgery and glad I went with the many recommendations I received!

I have recently moved to the area and joined this practice along with my family on the advice of friends. I found the reception staff were extremely welcoming and accommodating during the onboarding process, I'm grateful as I have a big family :) The clinicians are very knowledgeable and actually do what they say they will in the timeframe they tell you...a rarity these days! Getting an appointment was nice and easy and the support received during and after the process was exemplary. If only all surgeries were like this! I would 100% recommend these guys to anyone and I'm glad I listened to those who advised me.

I feel this surgery put profits over patient care. They are always cancelling appointments but are never too busy to be ringing people for flu jabs.

Dear Patient, I am sorry you have the these views. We only cancel patient appointments if we have any sickness, in such instances, before we cancel appointments, we try and get alternative cover, however this can be difficult with the short notice. Regards, Practice Manager

- Can never get through to them, as the surgery is closed most of the day during the week. - Always cancel appointments and their excuse is because the nurse didn't turn up, but yet very reluctant to use locum nurse. - Always ringing regarding flu jabs, to a point it's become a nuisance. - Incompetent staff, ring to say call in to book an appointment, only to be told to do it online when calling in. - Poor online portal which is not sufficient and not communicated to patients properly. - Overall badly managed and geared towards profits over patient care. - Would not recommend and looking to switch GP's immediately.

I am very impressed with the service I received from my GP earlier this week. I submitted an E-Consult on Tuesday evening and I was called on Wednesday morning by friendly and respectful receptionists to offer me a same day appointment. I went to my appointment and was seen in a timely manner. Receptionists were very helpful with my queries and informed me that I was overdue a review with the Practice Nurse for which they were able to offer me an appointment within the week! I attended that appointment and again, I was very happy with service I received from Reception and Clinical Staff. Thank you Ambar Medical Centre.
