Joining this practice has been great. I recently moved from near Lloyd park and did not get anything like this support. It’s easy to make contact, have online consultations which lead to very helpful suggestions. Appointments easy to get as well. Receptionists nurses and GPs all been brilliant thank you

At my visit to the gp last week, I was left more anxious and angry than in any other previous visits to my gp. The last time I visited my GP was over 13 months ago. Making an appointment was very difficult and at the time of making the appointment, the receptionist did not take all my illnesses which I wanted to discuss in the appointment notes. To my surprise and shock when I walked into the GP's room, I was told that I have 10 minutes and to explain what is the one major issue which I have. So I had to prioritise what could be fatal and what could not be fatal for me (I had to decide quickly and only one issue, as I was up against the clock). I only spoke about my stomach issue, and did not have the time or the opportunity to talk about my heart and legs - for an over 50 year old man, with long term diabetes, this was a very stressful experience. To be fair to the gp, he/she said that these were her slots assigned by the practice owners, who's mission was to make as much profit from as many bums on seats as possible. For decades I have been paying for this service through my taxes and to be belittled and trivialised like this was very upsetting - in the end I was told that the a hospital referral system would write to me at some point and arrange for an ultrasound exam. How times have changed and how sad it is to see a great institution being eroded away by greed. Needless to say the national and local decision-makers want to break the nhs in order to bring in private institutions to feed off of the people. A very negative and sad experience which I hope does not happen to others.

I was able to organise an appointment with a GP quickly and receive prescriptions within the hour. I had work commitments which meant it was vital I was seen asap and luckily Addison Road were able to do that.

I visited the practice with a worrying finger infection. The doctor whose name I don't remember was very helpful and sent me to A&E. It was a very bad strepococologus infection and I had to have several surgeries. I think that the doctor's help may have been lifesaving for me.

Punctual, efficient, comfortable and gentle experience. The appointment was with the nurse for a quite uncomfortable procedure. The nurse was very kind, understanding and patient.
