You can use the NHS App to check you can have an respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) vaccination.

This service is not available to all NHS App users. If the service is not available, find out more information about if you can have the RSV vaccine.

Check if you can have an RSV vaccination

Go to Services.
Select Check and book an RSV vaccination.
Select RSV vaccine for older adults, or RSV vaccine in pregnancy.

Book an RSV vaccination

If you can get the RSV vaccination, you might be able to book it through the app. This is available if you live in an area that allows online booking.

Go to Services.
Select Check and book an RSV vaccination.
Select RSV vaccine for older adults, or RSV vaccine in pregnancy.
Follow the steps to book your vaccination.

If you can't book in the app, contact your GP surgery to book your RSV vaccination.

If your vaccination information is wrong or missing

if you had the vaccination or made/changed a booking recently, it may take a few days to update so check again later
if you had your vaccination but it is missing it may be in your GP health record in the app
if you had it privately, it may not show as the NHS does not record private vaccinations, you can contact your GP surgery to update this information
if you think you need this vaccination, you should check who should have this vaccination
if you think your personal or vaccination information is wrong, contact your GP surgery
