Dosage
Your dose of remdesivir will be 200mg on the first day and then 100mg on days 2 and 3.
How you will be given remdesivir
It's important that you have remdesivir within 7 days of getting COVID-19 symptoms.
You will go to a hospital or local centre to get your treatment.
You'll be given remdesivir through a drip, usually in your arm (infusion). The treatment will be given slowly and can last from 30 minutes to 2 hours.
Giving the medicine this way means it can be given at the right speed – not too fast and not too slow.
