I called the Witterings pharmacy today having run out of my medication due to the doctors not issuing me my medication in time! The person I spoke to reassured me that they would not let me go without my medication over the weekend and have given me a emergency supply. I just had to pop down to the pharmacy to collect and it was sorted within 30 minutes. I’m so thankful for this pharmacy they always go above and beyond for their patients. Thank you please don’t stop.

I have been trying to ring all day morning and afternoon and no answer. I wanted my medication as I have not received it as it is urgent to me, but I just don’t know why there is nobody answering the phone. I can understand if it is busy but I’ve seen plenty of staff in there when I have had to go in. This is terrible,this medication is important to me and that’s why I phone. Perhaps the manager or who ever is supposed to be in charge or the owner can please sort this problem out, or ask the young staff in there to help more as theyjust don’t seem to bother.The pharmacist is a great man who helps when Ican get in and the delivery driver is a credit to the pharmacy and will always try and help when he can. So please can somebody sort this issue out. Thank you . Pat

You have the option to leave a recorded message for a repeat prescription, which I used twice & twice this had not been actioned when I questioned this I was told no message had been received. I now phone my repeat prescription in & this is the second month that this was not requested. I rely on my medication, as do most patients so this is totally unacceptable. Some of the receptionist are unhelpful & abrupt. Needless to say I have changed pharmacies.

Have been trying to phone the pharmacy and again nobody answers, have been into the pharmacy keep having to wait a long time for my prescription to be done even though the shop is full of staff. I can hear the phone ringing and nobody answers even though they’re standing there. It is totally unacceptable that this can carry on all the time. For several weeks I have asked to speak to the manage and all I get is no not in today I have ask for the manager to phone me but haven’t even got a call, very unprofessional. I have had enough of this pharmacy as the staff just do not care. The same as the last review I will be moving pharmacies again to a more professional shop. Sandra

I really appreciate the wide range of services . My prescription is requested for me, I get a text when it is available for collection. When I was immobile the prescription was delivered and I had a text to say that it was going to be delivered. I have had my covid vaccination here, expertly given. I had to contact the pharmacy today and was given an estimated time of when it would be ready and a text to say that it was ready for collection. Service is given politely and patiently. Just a brilliant service.

Over the last few months the hospital has been optimising my regular medication. This has involved quite a few changes and includes tablets subject to nationwide supply issues. I don't think we realise how complicated it can be for parmacists to keep their stocks relevant to our needs in a timely manner - a big thank you, particularly to the kind soul who went over and above liaising with the surgery, logic was applied the same day. Throughout the counter staff have remained cheerful, courteous and professional - approach calmly with a smile and 'thank you', they work hard!

I booked a COVID-19 and flu booster jab for my elderly mother at this pharmacy on the NHS website. Her appointment time came and went and she was eventually told she would not be getting her jabs because they had run out of time, there was only my mother and one other to do but they refused and would not offer an alternative date. In her 80s, my mother was left bewildered and disappointed but eventually made her way home. If a pharmacy offers this service and is bookable through the NHS they should have the capacity to fulfil their obligations and not turn elderly folk away, some of whom may have struggled to get there in the first place. Very poor show Witterings Pharmacy. With Two other Pharmacies in the village don't forget customers have a choice.

The assistant could not have been more helpful sorting out problems with my prescription. She was very thorough and understanding. A great service.
