    Unfortunately, not for the first time I have experienced bad service at West End Pharmacy. Whilst this was my chosen pharmacy when it was Lloyds Pharmacy I continued to have my prescriptions sent to West End Pharmacy to be filled but have been disappointed on several occasions which has resulted in me not using the West End Pharmacy as my chosen pharmacy. A prescription with 2 different items was sent to the pharmacy in November 2023, I was told that one of the items was not available but was assured that stock could be sourced. I was asked to leave my contact details to be notified when the item became available, however didn't receive any notification so visited and called the pharmacy for updates. I was told on several occasions when I visited that stock of the item would be available however every time i visited it was not available. I did receive the full allocation of one item but not of the second item prior to Christmas 2023, I was told that the missing item would become available and I would receive a call to collect the owed item. After not hearing anything from the pharmacy for some time, I recently visited to check if the owed item was available, I was told there was no record of the item that was owed and that it must have been sent back to my GP surgery. This is not the first time collecting prescription items has taken more than a month. I would prefer if the staff had been honest and said that it was unlikely they could source the items from my first or even second visit, I would have taken the full prescription elsewhere to avoid any gap in taking my prescription items and returned in the future to the West End Pharmacy however, this is not the case now.

    I have been in here quite a few times since it was taking over. I feel very sorry for the assistant on the counter she has to take all the bad feedback off the customers. When it was lloyds it seemed to run much smoother uou were in and out in about 10 minutes now you wait about 30 mins if not longer. There is very little on the shelves to invite you in to shop . While you are waiting ever customer is complaining i feel very for the staff i have never seen them so disheartened and i know tgem fairly well as i have been using lloyds for years but now i think i will have to move to another pharmacy
