    I collected my prescription in January 2023 and thought then the pharmacy could be cleaner but on having to collect again from there this month it was even worse (I would change but a years prescription was split into 3 and I’m having trouble changing selected pharmacy with Lakeside now) the floors were dirty, used tissues on the floor and also seen in one of the sales baskets, the shelving looked grubby, the doors had ripped posters, not laminated and to say we are all very aware of the spread of infection post pandemic this pharmacy should be shut down for a deep clean.

    Urgent Medication prescribed by doctor and assured it would be ready within an hour at the pharmacy. I left it longer, waited in the queue for 15 minutes to be told will be ready tomorrow. No polite greeting, apology or explanation. Feeling distraught as I have suffered a very recent bereavement, I felt I could not face waiting for my medication. Even though the doctor’s practice told me they cannot refuse to give me the medication - they did. I was not the only customer spoken to in an abrupt and surly manner. I will be changing my pharmacy. Customer service is appalling and staff would not get away with this behaviour in other service industries people need their medication and so can be treated disrespectfully, it’s a disgrace.
