My GP sent an urgent prescription, on line, on Tuesday morning at 10am. I then spent the following three and a half days trying to telephone to progress my prescription, but the line was always busy. This seemed impossible, so I phoned Saturday afternoon after the shop had closed, and the line was still busy. I had double-checked the number on the internet, just in case. The prescription related to a current issue which meant I had limited mobility and was unable to drive, so without knowing the prescription was available, it was pointless asking someone to go to the shop to collect it. I cannot believe a busy Branch like this one, with quite a few staff, could not notice for at least four days that their telephone line was down.

Good morning Alan Gilby. We are very sorry to hear you were disappointed with the service you received at our pharmacy at 31/33 High Street. Unfortunately the branch have been experiencing ongoing telephone issues since Friday. These issues are currently being dealt with by the supplier and we hope to have them resolved in the next day or two.
