A real neighbourhood gem - a local pharmacy with a knowledgeable and helpful pharmacist who genuinely cares how you get on. I was referred by NHS111 online triage and the advice I received made a massive difference.

Wagpharm on Mitre Road is a small pharmacy by comparison but the pharmacist is one of the most comptent and careful pharmacists I have ever encountered. It's evident by the way he checks everything multiple times before giving you your perscription, by the way he responds to questions genuinly, and with his knowledge of the drugs he dispences. Even though his pharmacy doesn't look like it stocks everything, he's always been able to get things for me quickly, sometimes the same day. We recently had our flu jabs at this pharmacy. I was impressed by the way he carefully read all the questions to us and recorded things and that he asked us to wait a bit to make sure we didn't have a bad reaction (though rare, it's way better to be safe than sorry). We were really thankful for the extra time he spent with us rather than pushing us out the door to serve the next person! We feel grateful to have such a diligent small pharacy in our neighbourhood.

The staff are caring and attentive to your needs. I appreciate how thorough they are with the prescriptions and how they engage in a very kind way with regulars like me. I give them my highest endorsement for sure.
