I called in today to chase up a prescription. I don't think that the lady who answered wanted to help. I was trying to find out why the prescription had not been delivered as the medication was essential. She just kept repeating that it had been picked up by a service that I know provides catheters and continence wear. I tried to explain this but she kept repeating that it was with said service, so I called the service and they confirmed that they did not have this prescription and that they only did continence support. I called the pharmacy back and notified them that this is what had been said and she kept saying well I don't have it so you'll need to call the continence service again. I had to remind her that she was starting to yell and that I think she doesn't understand that i am saying the continence service doesn't do medication She put the phone down on the counter with a slam and then after 2 minutes of me speaking into the quiet phone she hung up. I called again and this time I was answered by a very polite lady who took her time to understand and then reiterated what I was saying to the lady I had spoken to earlier. She said she would be calling the GP practice to find out what could have happened to the prescription.

I bought Softpore – 60 Adhesive Surgical Dressing – 6cm x 7cm x 2 from Vision Pharmacy on 16 January 2023. I paid £14.39 including delivery. [Order #19576] (January 13, 2024) I contacted twice re one box having 20 missing but had no response. Unfortunately I didn't check the reviews and my first order arrived OK but there are obviously serious issues as only 1.9 on TrustPilot. Complaints are products not received or in my case not as advertised and the company just does not respond. Just ignoring consumers with issues such as this is a major concern. Date: Friday 9 February 2024 Subject: Vision Pharmacy order complaint Sent via on-line form This is the second time I've contacted you. I am now going to put a review on TrustPilot. First email: To: visionpharmacy Date: 5 February 2024, 15:23 Dear Sirs I opened one of the boxes from the order (details below) on Saturday evening and it was immediately obvious that it was not a full box. I decided to count them and was shocked to find out that there were, not just 2 or 3 missing, I wouldn't have noticed that - but 20 missing - yes 20! I immediately opened the second box and it was obvious that was full but I counted them anyway. This is my second order from you. I didn't feel the need to count those. I didn't want to order something medical from the likes of Amazon. Best before dates can be old etc and they may not be genuine. Thinking that an actual pharmacy could be trusted! I've attached a copy of the label and box in order that you can investigate this. I'm obviously far from impressed!

I was tempted to keep it to myself how great this pharmacy is as I don't want them to get swamped but that would be selfish of me and I have no doubt they would cope anyway. Having experienced poor service at a number of other Chaddesden pharmacies (very slow turnaround on prescriptions, refusal to stock certain prescribed medications and general poor customer service) I stumbled across Vision Pharmacy on Woollaton Road after calling around to find somewhere stocking my prescription because my usual nominated pharmacy didn't have it. Not only did they have what I needed but they said I could go there immediately and they would have it ready for me. This happened a second time a few months later at which point they offered to switch me to them permanently and I haven't regretted this. I recently went to collect medication for my children, but it turned out they didn't have a nominated pharmacy. Vision Pharmacy offered to track the prescription, set up my children with them as their nominated pharmacy and provided the medication straight away. They are always so friendly - the atmosphere when you walk in is that of a busy pharmacy but one where everyone is pulling together as a team and working hard like busy bees and the result of that great work ethic is a fantastic pharmacy running like clockwork and happy customers. I have never had any delay in collecting prescriptions here after coming straight from GP appointments and by their own admission they just feel it is important to do a good job to help people in the community as that is what they are there for. Nothing is too much trouble for these wonderful ladies. Thank you so much for all your hard work, you are an asset to our community.

I needed a spring booster vac, I am 77 andbooked and visited Vision pharmacy, I was greeted by staff and phamacist in a frienly professional manner. The pharmacist was charming and efficient. My wife (75) also needed a vacination but is unable to attend so I was offered and accepted a home visit which was also delived perfectly. It was NHS at its best.
