   the pharmacist refused to prescribe a plan b pill for me after i had been assaulted. i didn’t mention that i had been assaulted, but regardless the pharmacist is supposed to provide a service and they refused because ‘writing the prescription takes too long’. i went in the morning when it wasn’t busy. there were no other customers in the pharmacy apart from me. he told me that it would take him too long to write so i had to ask the gp to write me one. when i called the gp, they told me they weren’t sure why the pharmacist had asked me to call, as usually the pharmacist can prescribe this medication themselves. in the end i had to go all the way to coldean pharmacy and the pharmacist there was lovely and prescribed the pill straight away.
