  1. Review titled Poor Service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

The pharmacy claims to be diligently meeting customer needs, specifically the prescriptions required by patients at the nearby Twyford surgery. However, their service standards are notably subpar. They mention a five-day turnaround for prescriptions, yet when you call to check on their status, an automated message informs you that all lines are busy and asks you to call back. After trying three times, the call is disconnected. Reaching someone for assistance seems nearly impossible. If they are so overwhelmed, they must be earning significant profits, so why not hire additional staff? Maybe its profits before patients as seems the way nowadays.

Dear Customer Thank you for bringing your concerns, we understand your frustration. If the issues you have been experiencing are isolated to today, please accept our apologies, as there has been intermittent issues with the phones lines. If the issue is general experience it would be beneficial to understand more detail, and we would welcome more information. We would invite you to email mh.twyford@nhs.net, and mark it for the attention of the Manager. If you would prefer not to take this step, can we advise that you check your NHS app to see if the prescription has been dealt with by the GP. Depending on the date this should give you an idea of when the pharmacy would start their process. If you are a surgery patient, the staff will endeavour to inform you by text when it is ready to collect. If you have not had a text, and your prescription has not been processed, please do get in touch with the manager and we hope we will be able to resolve your issue, but also learn by your experience.

  2. Review titled Bad service and attitude

Rated 1 star out of 5

While it's not the pharmacist's fault that various drugs are in short supply, this pharmacy seems to be unwilling and unable to cope. First script was half filled, on return for the other half we got a quarter and then nothing except a refusal to advise the doctor so a replacement script could be issued. Had to complain to the practice manager for someone to just send an email explaining the only 62.5% of the drugs had been provided. Nothing after that and then said the script had expired. No doubt they claimed for the whole amount which probably amounts to defrauding the NHS ....

  3. Review titled Staff should be aware of basic hygiene

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Every child in the country knows not to cough openly into the air, since the pandemic. Shocked to find the woman who served me today, coughing openly and making no attempt to cover with elbow or tissue. Vulnerable people visit GP surgeries and pharmacy. Staff training required.
