  1. Review titled Poor Service

Rated 2 stars out of 5

This pharmacy used to be easy to deal with. Repeat prescriptions sent from Dr to pharmacy, they would then text when prescription was ready for collection, all very easy and saving everybody time. The service over the last 12 months have however gradually become an absolute car crash. Repeat prescriptions still being sent to pharmacy from Dr no problem. However, text message service to say prescription is ready no longer being used, instead prescription is only being dealt with once you visit the store to pick up. This results in being told to come back and pick up from times varying from half an hour to two hours. This often results in having to revisit the store then be told its not ready, only part ready or come back tomorrow. This week alone has resulted in 4 visits to store over 3 days for the same prescription. The service seems to being going backwards. I thought the idea of booking a repeat prescription online was to ease the doctors surgeries of visits that were not urgent. In turn the forwarding of prescriptions saved patients picking them up from surgeries. Why the pharmacy cannot make the prescription up ready for collection as they had done before is beyond me. It was saving everybody time and a lot of frustration. Its clearly a company policy change & I have every sympathy with the front of shop staff as they are clearly understaffed and caught in the middle of this idiotic policy change.

  2. Review titled Terrible service!

Rated 1 star out of 5

I called today. When it was my turn to be served, the assistant moved to another counter position, said nothing...waited for me to follow. I followed! No greeting. No hello. No how can I help you. I explained I required some pain relief for my wife after she hurt her arm after a fall on the stairs. My wife was with me. No questions to her from the pharmacist who didn't even look up. A brief exchange between pharmacist and the assistant, a packet of paracetamol produced. I didn't need a pharmacy to buy paracetamol. I suggested a cream. Cream produced and paid for. No 'thank you'. No instructions. No 'good-bye'. Cream and receipt just placed on counter and assistant turned to the next customer. Just as well there was no 'please call again' as I won't be doing that. I can only assume people go there for the convenience of the supermarket....it certainly won't be for the unprofessional and discourteous service or 'bedside manner'!!

  3. Review titled Change in prescription process

Rated 2 stars out of 5

I collect my husbands prescription after ordering through our gp every month with no issues, today I went to collect to be told I had to wait 90 minutes so they can process it, I asked why when they've had it for a week, they said there manager has instructed them to process the prescription when customer arrives to collect, this is absolutely stupid when you're ordering in good time for them to process. They are also short staffed, hence the wait I presume, I won't be going back until this is changed again, but they won't inform their customers either way. Extremely disappointed.
