I placed an order 2/5/25 on line and did not receive a text to collect so visited on 9/5/25. Pharmacist told me there was no way he could look or deal with my query as he was on his own and behind. I visited Saturday morning at 9.50am and was told they were behind, but would have a look. It was not ready and I was told to wait 15 mins and it would be done. I waited 25mins and when I stood up from the waiting chairs I was asked my name again and then told “oh forgot you!”. 2 minutes later I received my prescription. Clearly there is a problem and customers are suffering.

In line with standard practices across most pharmacies, for repeat prescriptions patients are advised to allow 48 to 72 hours for prescription processing from the moment it arrives at the pharmacy. It's important to note that processing times can vary, particularly during periods of high demand, such as the weeks before and after a bank holiday. In your case you visited the pharmacy just 24 hours after we received your prescription, and unfortunately, it had not yet been processed. Our pharmacy team worked hard to prepare your medication as quickly as possible under the circumstances. However, to help ensure timely access to your medication in the future, we strongly recommend: * Ordering your prescription well in advance * Tracking it's progress via the NHS app * Allowing the full processing window after the pharmacy receives it. Please note that pharmacies are not responsible for delays in receiving prescriptions and are not notified when you place an order. We can only begin processing prescription's once they are officially received. We appreciate your understanding and remain committed to supporting your healthcare needs.
