Review titled Rude practice
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Richard - Posted on 30 May 2024
Tried to use wells Tesco pharmacy today and was basically spoken to like dirt. After waiting sometime for the pharmacy worker to finish having a conversation with his co worker I gave him my perception , he takes my perception and just walked off with it . The pharmacy worker the came back and said to me we can't give it to you now come back in one hour , I looked a bit confused at him as I was the only person at the pharmacy , he then said to me in broken English plenty of other people need medicine before you. I just asked for my perception back and left , not only was he rude but he was more interested in having a conversation with his co worker than he was dealing with the public. If this person worked for me and I saw him talking to one of my customers like this he would be sacked on the spot. I will never return to this pharmacy as it was a total waste of my time and the staff are rude !!

Review titled Bad service & rudeness and aggression when asked 'why?'
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Customer Service professional - Posted on 20 March 2024
I experienced poor service and rudeness, today, the 20th of March, 2024 at about 13:50 at the Tesco Pharmacy in Mansfield. - My prescription was sent by my doctor, to the pharmacy on the 13th of March - I had asked for the prescription on the 15th of March, but was told it took them three days to get it ready - They are supposed to send a text message saying it is ready, and, in the past, they have done this, on time - Today, I go into hospital, so need the prescription, so, despite having no text, I went to ask for it - It turned out that it was ready, but they had not sent me a text - The helpful assistant gave me the medicine, and I asked her what had gone wrong, for the text not to have been sent out - She was trying to explain this to me, when the pharmacist who had been at the back came forward and was very aggressive - She said 'we have had this conversation before' - which is simply untrue, she may be confusing me with somebody else - She said there had been 'no mistake' - When I asked why the text had been sent out, she said 'we take no abuse from customers' - Then she said she was removing me from their list - I left. That level of rudeness and dishonesty is not acceptable in somebody serving the public. A pharmacist ought to understand that asking why something has not worked as it should work is absolutely not 'abuse'! Accusing people of abuse is, itself, an act of abuse, and quite unacceptable - it is important that, when things go wrong, customers can ask about them, and even be critical, without such rude misinterpretation.

Constant failings with very important medication, time and time again i put in a repeat prescription more than a week in advance and it is never ready or they simply do not have it, i have now stopped taking my blood thinners once again because after messing around the past few days i am now told they don`t have them and i now need to go in again tomorrow for the third time to collect them, they have had more than a week to sort this out and once again they fail, the petty excuse was they were busy, i of course have all the time in the world running about after them.

Review titled Third time lucky picking up a prescription?
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 22 September 2023
I took a prescription to the instore pharmacy on Tuesday and was told I would have to return for my items. Not a problem, this is an issue I've faced with various pharmacies over recent months. Told them I would return on Thursday evening around 6pm, which I did. After waiting in line for 15 minutes to make it to the counter, I was then told I would need to wait a further 40 minutes to collect my items. She had one of them in her hand already - I pointed out that I'd turned up at the exact time and day I said I would to collect them. But no. Absolutely no chance of me getting them any sooner. After a particularly stressful day at work, I wasn't in the mood for waiting around ... "you could go and do some shopping", she rather (un)helpfully suggested. Yes, let me spend almost an hour out of my evening waiting for two prescription items and leave Tesco even more out of pocket than I needed to be. I will now have to return to the pharmacy this evening for the third time to attempt to collect my prescription. Not holding my breath!
