Had an issue recently where my Mum went in here to pick up my prescription for me and it hadn’t been received so she called me whilst there to let me know and they were being extremely rude to her in the background. I asked to speak with them over the phone to ensure the prescription request was received correctly and they continued the attitude with me over the phone. Following this I contacted my doctors surgery and they sent prescription through again for same day collection. I contacted the doctors before leaving and they confirmed the prescription had been sent through. When I arrived, the assistant began by having a go at me and telling me my Mum was rude to her. I explained that I heard the conversation over the phone and thought them (the pharmacy) to have been rude to my Mum. Without checking or asking me questions the lady then started telling me about my historical prescriptions and told me that just like she’d advised me Mum, they didn’t have my prescription. I explained that I’d spoke with the doctors twice that day and they confirmed it had been sent through again earlier in the day to which she told me it hadn’t. I called the doctors again who sent me a barcode reference for them to locate it and spoke with a different server who confirmed it had actually been received that day despite what the previous server advised. From the second I walked in she was ready for an argument because she took a disliking to my Mum a couple of days before and began harassing me from the offset before I’d even requested my prescription. This would appalling service for anyone to receive but even worse considering what my medication is for and the fact I hadn’t taken any for a few days because of this issue.
