  1. Review titled Avoid - Rude Male Pharmacist

Rated 1 star out of 5

by Anonymous - Posted on 19 December 2024

I have been going to this pharmacy routinely for the last 8 months. Every month I would go to collect my medication. The male pharmacist is the most rude, ignorant and straight up inconsiderate person I have ever met. He will not look you in the eye or talk to you and hides behind the counter. He has been rude every single time I have entered the pharmacy and his attitude is shocking. I wont be bothering going here again and recommend he finds a job he actually enjoys instead of being miserable every day.

  2. Review titled Abysmal service

Rated 1 star out of 5

It’s not the first time Taylor’s pharmacy has been a disappointment to deal with, but this time I had to write because it involves our teenage daughter. She got a very bad reaction to an insect bite, which was getting worse despite antihistamines. I took a photo of it and showed to one of the staff asking for a hydrocortisone cream to help relieve discomfort. The lady said that it looked bad and they wanted to see it first. Our 13 year old daughter is also servicing the community (yes, at this age), she starts at ~8am and finishes at ~6.30-7pm every day including weekends (unlike Taylor’s pharmacy with a weekend off and 1 hour lunch when the pharmacist is out and no prescriptions are handed out). She could only come to the pharmacy at 5.45pm that day. I was told that it was fine as they close at 6pm. We were there just before 5.45pm to be told by another member of staff that they would not have time to help her as they need these 15 minutes to prepare for closing and to look at the bite would take 20(!!) minutes! They were cold, indifferent, unfriendly and clearly lacking empathy. We left in a bit of a shock, ran to Boots pharmacy in town and were there at 5.55 pm. We got looked at straight away, it took 4 minutes. We were told in details what to do, were given the cream and were told when to come and see them again. They were simply brilliant. Taylor’s staff showed an appalling example of customer service. The only “good” thing is that our daughter experienced what a bad and unfriendly service looks like and how it feels when people who can and should help you (within the opening hours) refuse to do so. We are leaving this pharmacy now and will never buy anything from there despite living very close and having been their customers for a very long time. What a shame.
