    No pharmacist to sign off my repeat medication due Saturday 08/06/23 until 10/06/23. My inhaler has run out I’m disgusted. In calling shop have been told there is nothing they can do lack of pharmacists & to call 111. This is the 2nd time this has happened this year

We would like to apologise that the experience you had did not match the standards we expected from our healthcare services and any inconvenience that this has caused. Unfortunately, the responsible pharmacist that was booked in could not attend their shift due to unforeseen circumstances. A member of staff should have been available to signpost you to the nearest open pharmacy. We apologise if this was not communicated effectively to you and for any distress this may have caused.

    I have used Superdrug Bridgwater for over 5 years, it was a great service. Because of certain memory issues I have my medications were put into a dosette box and sorted in days and times I needed to take them. They would deliver every 4 weeks like clockwork. Recently my medications didn’t arrive, and I was relying on that delivery as I’d run out of medication. I attempted to call them over & over and couldn’t get through so I sent my daughter down to the pharmacy. She was told that they longer do dosette boxes as they don’t have the staff any more.She replied well it would of been nice if you told your customers, to which the lady replied “we don’t even have enough staff to let people know-Wow! My daughter contacted the regional manager to find out what was going on and ask when they would be restarting the dosette boxes and he replied they won’t be,they have staffing issues and he suggested looking for another pharmacy!! What a dreadful way to treat their most vunerable customers!
