I live alone and have been ill all year. Unfortunately, being home and ill it slipped my mind to give 3 days notice for a repeat prescription. I called the Doctors and explained my situation and they were brilliant saying not to worry and it will ready. I called on Thursday at 9am and was told it would be ready after lunch on Friday. I had no one to collect this for me so I went myself feeling highly anxious around 3.30pm. It appeared that my prescription was not ready which is fine as I was prepared to wait and there was a chair I could sit on. The Pharmacist appeared to look on what I can only say was the ‘naughty’ shelf and proceeded to scold me in front of other customers for not giving the 3 day request period. I was embarrassed, felt as though I was made to grovel an apology and left crying. This is not acceptable by any standards. I have always given a weeks notice for all my medication and should be paid the same respect. But when I’m just told “we don’t have your insulin and come back next week” then this is hypocritical to the 3 day rule! This has happened on 2 occasions recently of which I have not complained. If the Pharmacist cannot show any empathy, sympathy or consideration to what people are going through then he is in the wrong job. “If you can be anything, then be kind”

This pharmacy is above and beyond in quality, efficiency, professionalism and all round excellence. It is well stocked with everything you could want medicinal wise, but it also has makeup, hairdressing products, gifts, sugar free products and so much more. The staff are so lovely and helpful and always go that extra mile to get you looked after. The two Pharmacists are exceptionally good and I highly encourage everyone to get their prescriptions filled here as they will be getting the best service possible. Car parking is good and they also offer flu vaccinations, but book ahead as very popular. If this was a hotel it would be 5 Star.
