  1. Review titled Absolutely horrible chemist

Rated 1 star out of 5

I have been coming to this chemist for years and so much has changed it has gone downhill, most of the staff speak to the customer awful and no customer service skills whatsoever, they don’t care, you are not allowed to ring up anymore even if you can’t get out of your house and have no one to physically go to the chemist for you or you have the flu they want you to personally go into the chemist and infect everyone to spread it around even more when you have played your part and stayed away from everyone, where’s the duty of care!! To the lovely staff I hope you 3 know who you are you are amazing and need to be valued more thank you for your time and effort.

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback and we are sorry to hear about your poor experience. We take on board your feedback regarding customer service and will be looking into this more closely as our patients are our primary concern. We have been asking patients to come and collect their medication well in advance of the holidays as we are seeing a very high demand at the moment due to the festive period and NHS strikes which are all impacting our workload. For those patients who struggle to come into our branch, we do deliver free of charge, however our delivery service prioritises our most vulnerable and elderly patients. If you feel that you fit this criteria please do let us know and we can add you to the list. Should you wish to discuss your case in more detail please call our Head Office on 0161 370 2577 and ask to speak to a pharmacist or Neena who would be happy to help. Kind regards, Ken (Owner and Superintendent Pharmacist)

  2. Review titled Pathetic Service

Covid 19 positive test reported due to being on the vulnerable list. Paxlovid prescribed. The NHS caller suggested that the drug would be delivered the following day. It Wasn't. Several unsuccessful calls were made so i called 111. they chased for me. Pharmasco called and promised delivery by 10am the following morning. It didn't arrive. After several more unsuccessful calls i received a call back blaming 'heavy traffic', clearly nonsense. They said it has been shipped and would arrive later, they could not give an ETA. It never arrived. I am now beginning the 4th day of covid symptoms that the drug is intended to deal with. It is Friday Night and they are closed on weekends !

Dear Patient, Thank you for your feedback and apologies for your poor experience. I have been investigating your complaint and unfortunately we have no record of your referral through NHS 111 on our computer system. We would have received a referral which we would have processed after speaking to you and the NHS call handler. We also checked when we last ordered Paxlovid and it was last year. Our staff would not have promised a delivery without first ordering the medication as per our internal processes. You are welcome to come into the pharmacy where we can take your details and investigate your case further. If you are unable to come in the pharmacy, please call our Head Office on 0161 370 2577 as we would like to get to the bottom of what has happened and prevent any future recurrences. Kind regards, Ken Agravat (Owner)

  3. Review titled Terrible service. Avoid

Rated 1 star out of 5

Pharmaco have had staff sickness an shortages for over a month now. The owner really ought to be getting more staff to deal with the increased workload instead of putting both his staff and his customers at risk. Think about it. A chemist full of the sickest people being made to wait for a considerable amount of time is going to aid in the spread of infections. If owner thought more of his staff given they are of sick and his customers who are using his chemist not his grocery store as he suggested I thought he was running. No I expect a professional chemist to aid and deal with some of the sickest people. If they have a prescription there is a reason for that. I saw patients leaving without their medication an owner didn't see an issue with that. Personally used this chemist since I was little an I am absolutely appauled how it is running it currently. Putting staff an customers at risk. Changed chemist. Would not recommend in its current state.
