Today I rang up asking if my medication was ready to collect. The doctor had issued the script earlier in the morning. They told me they could get it done by 5pm which was ok the last time I needed my meds. Unfortunately this time I completely forgot to order in advance so urgently needed my morning dose. The lady on the phone agreed that I could have the medication I urgently needed before 1 pm and that I could collect the other three items later. When I got to the pharmacy, the assistant at the front was very kind and helpful however the pharmacist was so rude. Said he can’t disrupt his workflow for people like me who forget to order my medication in time. He showed no compassion for someone who is chronically ill and just simply forgot (I confess I am only human) I told him normally you can take a script in to any pharmacy and they prepare your meds then and there. However, because I have four medicines on my script he said it’s too much and it disrupts his workflow which is why I have to collect later. My Doctors on the hand were very understanding and wrote my prescription straight away so I was shocked with the abruptness from the pharmacist. I told him that this would be the last time I would be using his pharmacy and he was so arrogant to say that he didn’t care and didn’t need my script. He didn’t even care when I said that I will be writing a review about his service. I’ve never had a problem with my old pharmacy which I used before I moved.
