Went to this pharmacy to see if they could help with regards to conjunctivitis. I wanted some eye drops that had the anti biotics in. Was told these were only given out to prescriptions only as there was a high demand for it and needed to see the dr. In the meantime I got some other ointment that wasn’t as good as the drops. I rang my drs the following morning who had no appointments for me to be seen for said prescription. I was told to go to urgent care, went there straight away got told to come back at a certain time in afternoon. Arrived again at urgent care to be told by the dr that they should have gave me it over the counter, he rang them himself and was told they don’t recollect my conversation. Not only have I had my time wasted, I have wasted the time of the drs at urgent care where they could have been handling something more serious. I went to the pharmacy as instructed by the adverts shown, just to be sent to urgent care for no reason when the pharmacy in the first place could have sorted it. Not sure why they are holding medication back. Also they are charging £3.00 more than other pharmacies for the eye drops. I know this as when the dr rang they said it’s £14. I obviously went to another pharmacy to give them my custom and was charged £11. So disappointed with this pharmacy especially when they should be helping the NHS and relieve it of pressures they are experiencing.
