I use this pharmacy as the link to an electronic GP service. I have found staff often go beyond what could reasonably be expected in terms of service to their customers. Staff are well trained and sensitive. It is to their credit daily they work as a team to provide such an excellent service in a pharmacy that always seems very busy.

Needed some painkillers at short notice after a hip replacement. The staff couldn't have been more helpful in sorting this out for me.

Pharmacy issued medication which didn't adhere to prescription, and I was not informed. When I came to use it, I realised that it didn't follow specification. Took medication back to pharmacy and was told that couldn't get hold of other meds so had substituted without telling me. Unfortunately substitution means that I can't accurately take required dosage. They said that I should have checked meds before leaving pharmacy. Unfortunately it's not possible to tell whether meds are scored until you actually take meds out of packaging. I asked for the prescription to be issued back to me , but they said no as then they wouldn't get paid for the drugs that they had issued. Not interested in customer service/health - more interested in profit unfortunately

Review titled Closed - despite opening times being published on Website

I travelled to the pharmacy having checked the opening times only to find that it was closed. Published opening time was 08:30 and I arrived at 09:00, when I asked why it was closed I was told abruptly that "they haven't showed up", when I asked what time they expected it to be open I was told "dunno, whenever someone shows up" I gave up and went to a different pharmacy, got what I wanted, oh and did my weekends shopping at Sainsbury's!
