Thank you to the team at Moatfield Surgery for sorting out my husband’s prescription and particularly to the kind member of staff who delivered it to us at home after they had finished their shift so that he could get started on his treatment straight away. Also our thanks for giving him a covid jab in his home.

I recently came to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Whilst I was there I mentioned that I had an inflamed eye which wasn't improving bathing with tepid water. The lady I spoke to saw the pharmacist who asked, through her, some pertinent questions and prescribed me some antibiotic drops. So easy, no appointment and received what I thought I required. My eye has completely healed. Thank you. Your knowledge is just what we need for minor medical advice.

I phoned asking about travel vaccinations and was told I could come that day. I arrived waited 5 mins and was called in for my vaccination. The pharmacist was calm, reassuring and gave me clear information. I will be using them again for vaccinations and good to know they offer a walk in service for travel vaccinations.

I went to ask for advice for travel vaccinations. I didn't have an appointment but within a short time was invited into the consultation room where I was given full advice and the required vaccinations. Prompt, professional and friendly service. Brilliant.

I couldn’t give this pharmacy any higher praise. Nearly all of my repeat prescriptions are made available for collection with 48 hours and I’ve just had a marvellous flu vaccination with a 24 hour health monitoring procedure that was exceptional.

Booked for a Covid jab at 9:15. Arrived 9:05, told "take a seat the Pharmacist with be with you in a minute" Waited until 9:50 with no explanation as the waiting area filled up with people and staff made no effort to address the fact that everyone was being kept waiting or to explain the situation. Pharmacist only explained the delay when asked directly (trouble accessing patient records). There was no reason why staff (who were in line of sight the whole time) could not have taken 2 minutes to explain to everyone there what the problem was instead of just leaving us to speculate on how late we were going to be.

The Mountfield Pharmacy is situated close to the A22. On arrival the impression is of a clean, quiet, peaceful area which is surrounded by mature trees. I had arrived 35 minutes early for my appointment. This was not a problem. Within a few minutes I was shown in to a small room by the young pharmacist. He had a reassuring air of quiet, calm competence. When all the required checks had been gone through he gave me the vaccination which was painless. He then suggested I wait 15 minutes in the waiting room before driving. During this time I was checked on 3 times by a member of staff. All in all it was a pleasant experience for something we would normally try to avoid. Thank you Mountfield.

I was concerned that some of my medication was having an unintended adverse effect on my health. I called into the pharmacy and, although busy, the Pharmacist spent time going through my concerns and giving me guidance and reassurance for which I was very grateful. I felt unhurried and came away feeling my concerns had been addressed with a plan going forward which in no way contravened the consultation I had previously had with Medical Practitioner. Thank you.
