The pharmacy doesn't make up scripts as they arrive. Even if you ring and check if your script is made up they'll say yes, but when you arrive it isn't . Yesterday I rang them to check if my script was ready. The man said yes and it was ready to collect. When I arrived I gave the assistant this information. She started looking through the scripts under the counter and then in the back. I repeated five times to her that the script was ready to collect so looking through scripts was pointless. Noticing a made up script behind the counter in a ted basket I asked her if it was mine, it was!!! She said nobody told her it was there!!!! This fiasco wasted ten minutes. They're disorganised, unaware of what each other are doing and clearly organisational systems aren't in place. They should be inspected by the Pharmacy regulator.

I have a number of long term medications and use this pharmacy regularly. My meds are never ready when I go to pick up , despite being ordered online and me giving them a few days so I can pick up quickly. I always end up having to wait. I have asked numerous times to be notified by text when my tablets are ready to collect, once or twice this has happened but often not! Counter staff are lovely and working hard but the Pharmacists rarely interact with patients and when they do they are not friendly or polite. It always seems chaotic and disorganised with staff being unable to find prescriptions and not knowing where things are. I have never had an easy quick pick up of my meds in the last 4 years! I know all NHS services are struggling but even taking in to account Covid and current drug supply issues its a poor service.

Prescriptions are never ready, even when they have been sent days/a full week ago. Even when you ring and ask them to get it ready for you, so you can just pop in and grab it, they ignore this request so you end up having to wait anyway. They're also not very discreet when it comes to controlled drugs, announcing in a full shop how you have to come within a certain time frame to collect the controlled drug. So now everyone else in the store knows that you take a controlled drug. Not very professional. Could be taken to one side or just at least told quietly.

Booked my covid vaccine via the NHS website. Efficient service from when I arrived. Friendly staff. Offered me the flu vaccine whilst I was there - very convenient and would use them again.

Unfortunately this pharmacy has gone downhill under current management. The prescription pick up process is chaotic. They often can't find prescriptions sent from the GP surgery across the road. Today they gave me a medication brand which I'd specifically asked the GP not to use as I'd had a skin reaction to it previously. The GP placed a generic order so the pharmacy gave me the same brand I'd had previously. When I asked if I could have a different one, they flatly refused, saying there is only one brand. After I said the GP told me there was another (but I could not remember the name) they then said the GP should have been specific. There was no further help offered and the whole conversation had a rude/aggressive overtone. I won't be using this Pharmacy again. This is the the latest in similar experiences. They'd previously told me to come back for a prescription as they'd had to order it, only to find out after waiting a further day, that no supplier had it in stock. They couldn't offer any solution. Really bad service and I've witnessed others getting the same treatment whilst waiting (an age) for my prescription.
