Extremely rude & unhelpful staff. Long wait for prescriptions. When you go in feeling low & unwell the last thing you want is to be told to go away and come back much later as they are “too busy” especially when it’s antibiotics which are crucial for you to feel better! And you don’t live in the village so another car journey is needed. They Never answer the phone as well. Utterly terrible.

Such as shame for a village chemist to be so bad, when many rely heavily especially those who cannot travel further & many elderly people within the village. The Pharmacist is utterly rude. Regularly late for opening, I waited this morning for it to open at 0900 - when the pharmacist turned up at 0902 he went in & opened a few minutes later (it rarely has staff in ready to open on time). I have a horrible rash & rather than burden the doctor I thought a pharmacist may help. He shouted for me to go away for another 15 minutes because he wasn't ready & had to turn his computers on - whilst rolling his eyes & huffing. On another occassion - he has point blank refused to give my husband my prescription because it was sent by the doctor the same day (it was urgent & I was told to take immediately) and he didn't have time. On a more worrying occassion I took a friends child into the chemist as the child was burnt in the cafe next door by a falling cup of coffee - he screamed go to a doctor i don't treat children, then carried on gossiping to his friend. His staff are terrified of him. I am not sure if anyone regulates this pharamcist - wrong job!

Review titled Rude staff. Unhelpful, deliberately awkward

Unfortunately I visit here often, but have now chosen a pharmacy further away. The staff (not all, but half) are rude, unhelpful & go out of their way to make things more difficult. Whilst on a visit today, they insisted I wait 30 mins for a prescription sent 5 hours earlier for a 3 year old in pain. Whilst waiting conversations took place about forcing another customer to wait longer for their Medication & not give it to them. Disgusted doesn’t cover it.

Went into this pharmacy to try and get some advice today. Despite the Government telling us to go to our ‘friendly’ local pharmacist for help rather than taking up GP appointments he could not even be bothered to stop and talk to me let alone try to find out the details of my concerns.
