I recently had to pick up a prescription from little Paxton pharmacy, first time my medication wasn’t in, and to be told it’s not something we get in! I didn’t ask that and felt this lady was very judgmental and rude! then waited 2 days called and was told no distribute it, waited till next day called up and again greeted by rudeness finally got my prescription, But for further reference be Kind to all customers you do not know there story so be mindful next time!

Dear patient, Thank you for taking the time to provide us with feedback; we deeply regret any negative experience you have had. As part of our customer-focused service, we endeavour to inform the patient at every opportunity. In the event your medication is not in stock at the time of your arrival to the pharmacy, we will let you know this information. This affords you the power to decide whether you wish to wait for the item to be delivered by one of our many suppliers, or to take it elsewhere to another pharmacy. This is just one of the ways in which we meet NHS standards - we put patients at the forefront of decision making so that you are not left without medication that may be urgent. Typically in late 2022, items have been taking 1 to 3 working days to arrive, so it is not unusual for there to be a delay between the prescription being issued and being completed. We apologise that you were provided information that you did not want, this is simply our policy to keep our patients best informed. As per your review, you state that the lady serving was rude - we would love to hear more about this; if you would be willing to provide more information, please email us at littlepaxtonpharmacy@aah-n3.co.uk If the pharmacy was very busy at the time of your second visit, we do our best to serve customers as fast as safely possible, in order to avoid long queuing times. You also mention an element of judgment - I can personally assure you no member of staff at Little Paxton Pharmacy offers judgement to anyone of any background and accusations of judgement, prejudice and discrimination are taken extremely seriously. A great community pharmacy with a knowledgeable pharmacist who went above and beyond to sort out my prescription with the GP. Thank you.
