On two occasions I have not been able to get my prescription, as the Chemist shop( Ledras) has been closed over the weekend due to no pharmacist available! ….This is really poor as the only other Chemists in St Ives is the / Pharmacy (Boots) at the surgery and it is closed all weekend! This is alarming and serious in case of emergencies! For Older people and those without transport getting to another Chemist which is open and out of St Ives is impossible! ! Ledras is letting the St Ives Community down! They have supported Ledras for years and it was always a great Chemists / Pharmacy!What is going on ?? I really don’t know!! I was 2/3 days late in taking my antibiotics , due to this Pharmacy being closed! It is really poor and people are getting frustrated and angry! Also on line it states that the Chemists is open!!! What a dire situation!

I went into to Leddra pharmacy today to see if they could fill a prescription that I needed whilst away on holiday. The 2 ladies behind the counter were incredibly friendly and although they didn’t have what I needed, they very helpful in trying to find the medicine for me. They called all of their other branches and managed to find it elsewhere which was great! Thanks again!

On arriving in St Ives, I realized I'd left my HRT medication at home! The lovely counter assistant, from Plymouth, was very kind to me and reassured me that they would try and help me. I returned when the Pharmacist arrived and was able to be dispensed enough HRT to get me through my holiday. Their customer service was impeccable and they really saved my sanity and holiday! With so many pharmacies closing we should try to support local businesses that do their best to support their area.

My emergency prescription was dealt with promptly and efficiently. They were most helpful on the phone and when collecting the prescription. They were the only pharmacy locally that were able to supply my emergency medication.

I popped in to speak to the pharmacist about a problem with my skin. The pharmacist spent time with me, asking about symptoms and any other concerns that I had. The pharmacist was able to diagnose the problem and discuss treatment with me. The treatment given has quickly helped to solve the problem. Thank you so much for taking the time to listen and to look at the problem. Previous visits to my own GP had not been successful but a short visit to this knowledgeable and caring pharmacist has seen an ongoing, painful problem treated very quickly. Thank you.
