My 71 year old Uncle with Asbestosis visited the pharmacy on Saturday 10th August 2024 to collect his prescription for Aprixban as he had ran out of them, however he was then curtly told by the Pharmacist that he would. need to come back on Wednesday and not before. Rather than politely telling my Uncle this, she shouted at him my Uncle then advised her he ill and not deaf and that he had two blood clots and desperately needed them, the Pharmacist advised him that this was not her concern, absolutely shocking. We are directed now to contact the Pharmacists as the first point call for all your medical issues, why on earth some one would think this is acceptable to speak to a vulnerable adult, who incidentally had only been mugged the week before to treat him in this way is unbelievable and appalling. My Uncle lives two minutes away from this pharmacy and doesn’t want to change pharmacies but is extremely anxious and nervous about going to collect prescriptions in future. I know that Pharmacists are under pressure but is taking your frustrations and rudeness on an ill elderly gentleman the way to deal with things, I think not. Hopefully my Uncles experience will be recorded on CCTV so his experience can be reviewed. Enter this pharmacy with caution.

Recently I visited pharmacy but unfortunately the service was not as good as it has been in the past.Our Dr sent the prescription online ,I went to collect the next day but medication was not ready & I was told to come following day as medication was not in stock .When I went following day again the response from staff was not so efficient.I don't want to change pharmacy as this is our local pharmacy & I didn't have any bad experience in the past.I am sending this review so that there's improvement in service.

Hi Anonymous, Many thanks for your review. We always try and stock the most commonly prescribed medicines but will sometimes have to order stock to fulfill a prescription, which can cause delays in having the prescription ready for collection. That doesn't excuse an inefficient service so we will look into the reasons for this with the branch team.
