Review titled Rude staff
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 15 February 2025
Pharmacist extremely rude and unhelpful. After being told to wait to see the pharmacist by check out staff, I sat with my poorly son for 30mins, to then be met by the pharmacist saying to "we are closed go elsewhere" and that they were now shut, when I explained that I was told to wait, and that if I knew she wouldn't be able to see my son, I would of gone else where, she started to complain about her working hours, and how the previous Saturday she didn't finish on time. She spoke to me in such a unkind manner, which was completely unnecessary. My son, was struggling with a high temperature and ear ache, he is autistic and non verbal, and having to wait for half an hour was extremely distressing for him, to then be met with an extremely rude member of staff. I was absolutely disgusted by their lack of care and compassion. I would have had no issues, with needing to go somewhere else, if they explained, but instead I was told to wait, and then refused to be seen. Manners cost nothing, and she made a hard morning, even more so.

Review titled Flu/Covid Vaccination
Rated 3 stars out of 5
by Mrs B R Mortimer - Posted on 23 October 2024
On 10 October 2024 I had a 9.30am appointment for flu and covid vaccinations. I arrived in plenty of time, but the arrangements for registering people were not in place. It was rather confusing all round and I was late in being seen than my appointment time. However, my comments relate to the doctor who was giving the vaccinations. He was removed in his personal approach and the set up in his surgery was muddled. The big thing that shook me was that there was a large open box underneath his desk where he threw the used vaccination needles. The box was full and had clearly been used in this way for some considerable time. I thought used medical equipment such as needles had to collected in sealed NHS containers and regularly disposed off. This had not occurred with this doctor and this is the basis of my complaint. I would like a response please.
