Review titled No power for 4 weeks
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Anonymous - Posted on 22 April 2025
Upon arrival, the automatic door was physically opened by one of the staff who informed me they have had no power for 4 weeks and I would need to go somewhere else to get my prescription (this seems to be the only job staff are doing now). Not sure why they've not been able to get a proper sign sent from head office to display this information and get the word out to locals (no information about this was displayed in the GP over the road when I put in my prescription request 10 days ago). Not clear why there is no electricity but most businesses aren't going to be able to stay in business if they can't trade and still have to pay staff to tell customers to go elsewhere. Looking for a new pharmacy now

Review titled Awful pharmacy
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Sam - Posted on 16 October 2024
I've really wanted to give the benefit of the doubt to this local pharmacy but enough is enough. I just went to go and pick up a prescription and the pharmacy was closed, with no note on the door or anything. Lots of people going up to the door, including someone trying to make a delivery (the delivery looking to be people's medications which there will no doubt be a delay on those people receiving), with no explanation as to why the pharmacy was shut. The amount of times I've been to this pharmacy and something like this has happened is astounding. Usually they're at least open, but unable to dispense anything because there isn't a pharmacist in that day. A pharmacy thats regularly unable to dispense prescriptions... And with how easy it is to notify people about disruption nowadays, there is zero excuse for there to be just a closed building with no explanation anywhere as to why it is shut. It doesn't take a huge amount of technical know-how to write a Facebook post or the similar to explain a situation so people can plan their days. The prescription I wanted to pick up today was actually a bit of an emergency. My doctor has been changing my medication and I've been reverted back my old medication, of which I only have a days supply left. Them not being open - and no indication given for when they will be back open - means I will be having to take a gamble as to whether to take my medication today or not. Meaning I have to gamble whether I think my debilitating Ulcerative Colitis symptoms will come back or not. It's disgusting, and I won't be the only one in a situation like this. This can't go on for any longer.
