Totally disorganised chemist. Waited almost an hour to be told they had lost my prescription that was dropped off 2 days before. Avoid this chemist.

hello and good afternoon, I needed to pick up a prescription that was sent from neath hill health centre around 14:30, I was asked to pick up after an hour. I came back around 16:15 and the queue was out of the door, i waited 15 minutes before i left the queue not moving. is there a time i can pick up my subscription and not force to wait in a massive queue. I called them on this number 01908 605635 after several minutes on the automated ivr, they picked up but must have put the handset down I could hear their conversations, including prescriptions details. If you like a copy of this recording, please let me know.

I have been very surprised at the reviews on this Chemist. I have lived in Neath Hill for 15 years and used them on a regular basis. I have always found the staff to be super friendly and very helpful. Yes there are queues occasionally but as this is the only chemist in the area then obviously everyone with a prescription will be using them. It is not the fault of the Pharmacist or the assistants if at times one has to wait in a queue. There is no need to have a go at the very pleasant people who work there. I don't usually do reviews but was just upset to read some of the bad ones on here.

Review titled Slow service but lovely staff

Always a slow service and long ques. To be expected, due to staff and pharmacist shortages nationally. Lovely staff who are doing their best. Tried calling ahead several times today: 10:14 was 4th in que, 12:15 was 1st in que but still no answer after 12mins and then on break between 1-2. So I'm no closer to finding out if medication is ready to collect. Would be happy to go there to find out, if it wasn't from every experience being a long que/20min wait. Again, not their fault. Pharmacy staff deserve better pay and more acknowledgement from management, and to see them as people, not numbers. Any fault within any service, starts from the top down. And this is evident throughout my experience of attending any Jardines locally. Something needs to change, or many will seek to use other pharmacy chains. Getting much needed medication shouldn't be so difficult and stressful!

Rude staff waited in line for 20 mins to hear the staff moaning about how they don’t get paid enough and the customers and horrible to be told they won’t look for my prescription till I drop my “attitude” all I did was ask if they had my prescription ready as it was sent over a month ago! Do not recommend this place the staff are Allways rude and think they are better than everyone else and they never have your prescription anyway
