I was very disappointed with my care at this pharmacy. I was charged twice for one prescription, which when confirmed with the pharmacist in the GP practice this should not have occurred. Initially the medication was not available and had to be ordered in which is understandable and I was happy to return the following day to collect. However, the manner in which this information was communicated with me was atrocious, the staff were very dismissive and frankly couldn't care about my prescription at all. The following day I rang to confirm if the prescription has arrived and the staff on the phone were dismissive and hung up on me. I was really disappointed in the care I received despite having good reviews from my friends.

Ran out of reliever inhaler at work, requested an emergency prescription through 111 online, called pharmacy at 6.25 to check if they could sort it, very helpful over phone, went to pick up at 6.45 and inhaler waiting for me. Much appreciated thank you.

I have been a customer of this Pharmacy for several years. Sadly, in recent years the service that I enjoyed has changed due to the difficulty of speaking to a staff member. For instance today 23/02/2024 at 1600hrs I phoned the Pharmacy to query a shortfall in my medicine delivery. My attempt to make contact took 37 minutes during which time the Pharmacy disconnected my call which meant that I had to keep phoning until a member of the staff accepted my call at 16.37hrs. This is not an isolated problem. I have experienced this difficulty on many occasions in recent times and I know that speaking to other people appears to be a failing that this Pharmacy needs to address.

Great staff, very professional and nice, but there seems to be something wrong with their processes. Long wait, contradictory information, missing items.

This pharmacy is always very busy, and I appreciate that the staff are working non stop. However, to be texted to say that my prescription was ready to collect and arrive to find that it was nowhere to be seen was not helpful, neither to me or the staff. It could have been a computer error, but it has happened to me before.

Very helpfull and profesional would highly reccomend this practice. Having lived abroard for twenty years i found them very helpful with my medication, even telephone catchups.

I've used this pharmacy for 4 years and sadly it has gone downhill. Some staff are helpful and at least friendly. Some are unprofessional and unpleasant. There have been multiple mistakes made (both local surgery and this pharmacy) regarding my baby's prescription formula. A staff member argued that it was actually our fault that the prescription hadn't been filled. When I suggested that I speak to a GP to resolve the issue (perhaps more formula in each prescription so fewer requests), she said, I quote, that it wouldn't be a good use of a GP's time. So ensuring an infant with an allergy gets the correct formula isn't an important matter? I realise the NHS is under immense pressure, but the staff need to recognise that patients are struggling too, or at least have some empathy if they work in healthcare.
