Always have to wait long time to get prescriptions. Once I was in rush and wanted to know how long I have to wait. I was ignored and waited almost 2 hours. I understood circumstances (prescription from 111, but lady on the phone said will be ready in 20 min or so) they should be more polite and nice. Especially man in the back of the pharmacy. His attitude was really bad. He said I am waiting because is a lot of to fill or whatever but every time I am waiting there at least 20 min or much longer. ( I see how they look at people like they are much better then the patients) My husband waited once 1 h and they forgot him. Asked him to come back later. Unbelievable unprofessional place. I had to change pharmacy.

The pharmacy never have medications ready. Even if you give plenty of time to order repeats etc. Several times I've had to wait for over an hour to get a repeat. The pharmacy seating really uncomfortable and previously damaged and still in use. The staff are often quite abrupt and act like they are doing you a favour for acknowledging you. Go here if you have loads of time to be ignored, sit in an uncomfortable seat for an hour of your day.

I had a Basildon hosp app at the centre, l was given a 4 item prescription, l presented at phamacy, & waited about 35-45 mins for prescription to be made up, only to be told l item not available, return in afternoon. This was not possible as live about 7 miles away. So said would return Sat am, arrived to be told meds not ready, another 30 odd min wait. I asked how to take tablets as not taken them before, & pharmasist in duty did not seem to know.. So l left & found out myself elsewhere.

I rang up to ensure my prescription would be ready to collect when I arrived as I work full time and am on a tight schedule. When I arrived, I was still made to wait half an hour before I received my prescription. Rude member of staff gave me a dirty look when I arrived to collect and then caused the additional delay. If this wasn't my closest pharmacy I would be going somewhere else.
