Review titled Shocking
Rated 1 star out of 5

They are constantly making mistakes with my medication. I have ADHD medication, which, due to the supply problems, can take 2 weeks or more to get in; this is a well-known problem across the UK. However, with Gunnislake, there have been multiple times they have forgotten to order it, meaning that I have to wait an extra week for medication which lasts 4 weeks. I don't think there has been a single time where they have got the medication correct. I am absolutely appalled by them; I regularly hear of medication being delivered to the wrong address.

Review titled Delayed Prescription Delivery
Rated 3 stars out of 5

I requested my meds within the specified time and within the period required for a Home Delivery. (Required Friday 16 June) It failed to arrive. I checked online and found that again it was listed as 'Collect' even though I had been assured that I was on the Home Delivery Service. Tried to phone but it kept me hanging on.

Review titled extremely well run addition to the surgery
Rated 5 stars out of 5
by Paul Pearson - Posted on 05 July 2022
In all of years registered at Tamar Valley Health I can only remember one issue I have had and that was in the early days and a product I needed was not easily available. Other than that I have not had any bad experiences and my needs are of multiple monthly medications. Yes there are time people have had to wait however the practice building was not constructed for the affects caused by COVID and I think we should give credit where credits is due. Maybe some time in the future funds may become available for a new surgery to be built and I am sure the current situation will be taken into account then. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the staff at Tamar Valley Health for their efforts during what has/is a global crisis. Well done to you all

Thanks so much for your positive review Paul. It has been an extremely tough year with huge COVID absence and an increased demands placed on our teams with vaccinations and re-opening workloads. We manged to give over 15,000 vaccinations in during the winter and spring which is a fantastic achievement. We also dispense over 30,000 medicines each month at both sites, which is fantastic too, as we recycle this income into our service we provide for all our patients. Some good news is we have a plan to upgrade the entrance to the Gunnislake practice in the summer, and in the autumn we will place a Medipoint 24 hour 7 days a week collection machine (similar to the new one in Callington). So please bear with us, its taken time to save so we can invest, but you will see real improvements soon! Thanks TVH Partners.
