I applied for a repeat prescription 2 weeks ago. My wife went to collect today and was asked how many items and what the items were and what type of prescription it was. They said the had the prescription but it had not been put up and to call back later. My daughter went at 1730 to collect and went through the same interrogation. They could not find the prescription and had to print another one off and was asked to come back tomorrow to collect. They were told that I had ran out and my daughter waited 30 minutes while the script was made up. Since this pharmacy has changed hands it has gone down the pan and not fit for purpose it has also been noted that some customers have been given wrong meds or fewer items than were expected.this is appalling.

Every time I go in to collect my medication its not ready, despite giving them 4 or 5 days from date ordered by surgery. I seems since the new owners have taken over they supply home delivery first and walk in customers either have to wait or come back the following day. They seem to have got rid of most the staff from previous company and can not keep hold of new ones they take on. The pharmacist seem to be very old and very slow, and can't keep up with dispensing medications, hence there is a long queue and service is very slow.

This is a great pharmacy, they have a good service, quick, they have staff who is helpful and polite. I am only unhappy about their opening in the morning. Although their advertised opening time is 9.00 am, every time I went there in the morning they never actually opened at 9.00. Today I waited 20 minutes in the cold, outside with my child, I needed to buy some cold and flu remedies. They did not allow us in (other people were waiting as well) because the pharmacist was late. So we waited outside in the freezing cold... It bothers me because it was not the only time this happened, it happens routinely, they don't respect their opening time advertised online and in their window. Every single time I was there in the morning, the pharmacist arrived at 9.15am, 9.20am. It is particularly difficult to wait outside in freezing cold, wind, with a small child. They could at least have allowed us to wait inside, as other staff were present. Please improve at being late in the mornings, otherwise an excellent service!
