  1. Review titled Discriminatory and unprofessional

Rated 1 star out of 5

Discriminatory staff! Publically announced personal issues across the store infront of other customers. And also after 4+ years of allowing me to take my dog in with me has decided that she looks like an illegal breed and now no longer welcome. The so called owner is rude and dismissive of concerns. Definitely don’t recommend using! I’ll be taking my business elsewhere and recommend others do the same.

  2. Review titled Unprofessional and rude

Today contacted the pharmacy yet again, as medication received, which on 2 seperate occasions had been stopped. I was avised by them at the time to phone when needed...straight forward enough! Pharmist answered the phone. When I outlined reason for my call, he suggested I take control of ordering direct with gp, or using an app!! We don't live near the surgery, and they do not take prescription orders over the phone...for 15 + years, previous owner Gibbs & Gurnell carried out the prescription service without fault, mix up or delays. During the conversation today the phone cut off (I assumed a fault) phoned back... I was shocked at pharmacist disgraceful, rude attitude. He said he had put the phone down! he had a que out to the door, and didn't have 10 minutes to talk to me!!! So what was wrong with saying he could come back to me, or get someone in the pharmacy to contact me when they did have time? That would be customer service. As they Gibbs and Gurnell under principle 4 of NHS pharmacy inspection are required to deliver its service in a safe and effective manner, ensuring patients receive appropriate advice support and help to use medication properly.. the pharmacy owe patients a duty of care when providing their service. Well, it appears not so by Gibbs and Gurnell. NHS, rightly states, it does not tolerate any abuse...why then should patients be expected to accept arrogant, and in my view, such an abusive attitude over the phone, from a so called professional. I am almost 80, my husband 84. It is very upsetting having to deal with such a disrespectful individual. I agree, feeling so exasperated, I did retort - quote - if this is your idea of service, you know where to shove it. Of course he put the phone down...again. This pharmacy does not deserve recommendation at any level. We will be moving on...

  3. Review titled Bad clinical and patient safety

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am under crisis team, which puts me at high risk if I don't get my medication. Twice in 4 days they have this wrong. I paid for a taxi once, they sent half ny medication, refused to tell me responsible pharmacist name and told me "they had to go home "and hung up. No clinical explanation as to why. Second time I had fallen down the stairs. After being discharged from hospital the crisis team came out next day and told me to phone 111. Gibbs had prescription, refused to send it. Today I offered a taxi to pick it up again and they refused, even though legally I've checked and they can for someone with a mental health crisis and physical pain, they have forgotten their care of duty and hung up on me leaving me in agony again
