    been ringing since 9am for my dispensary prescription, im 75 calls in and no one has answered, they either put you to busy or leave it to go the fax machine. This is awful service when you can't actually go into the pharmacy because you work long hours. Don't provide a phone service if you're not going to answer the phone. No one can get in touch with you and you either hang up on people or just don't answer the phone when people are needing their prescription desperately. I leave my house at im working from 7am and i dont normally finish till 6pm im never going to get the time to go into the pharmacy for my presecription and it doesnt help when you dont answer the phone so i can arrange a delivery. this is really shocking and disgusting service that leaves myself and other people without their needed medication

    up until Dec 2022 i would have rated this the best pharmacy in Gateshead now since what appears to be a management change i would definitely change that to worst.A prescription delivered to them by Doctors. for delivery on Wedneday has still not been delivered by Saturday pm so it is now going to be at least Monday when phoned to query just hang up on you.Fortunately i order scripts well in advance but for any one elderley or confused this delay could be fstal . On going into shop was told we are short of staff and if you are not happy go to some other pharmacy a great way to do business

    I am 71, housebound with chronic health conditions following cancer surgery and depend on the prescription delivery service. I never know when delivery is going to take place as medications have been up to 7 days late. yesterday I was using the toilet when the delivery arrived, I did not hear a knock at the door and was only aware they had been 15 minutes later when I retreived a small piece of paper from the letterbox. I immediately phoned the pharmacy to arrange a redelivery but was told that company policy allowed only one delivery and that I would have to get to the pharmacy in person to collect my medication which was already late. I have just recovered from covid and it is freezing outside but I will have to pay for a return taxi to Fewster Square. I have complained to the company via customer services and taken my custom to another pharmacy nearby which does offer a redelivery service.

    4 days after ordering medication the prescription not ready to collect and asked to go back following day, people rely on pharmacy to put medication together on time, what has gone wrong with this once reliable pharmacy

    Up until a few months ago, I had very positive experiences with this pharmacy, staff and services. However, it's all gone a bit downhill. Prescriptions are now taking over a day to be processed, without any explanation. And to make matters worse, I have been told on multiple occasions that my prescription will not be ready to collect until the following afternoon or even the day after that. But when I collect it, the sticker proves that it was ready much earlier. The sticker is dated for the original day, so why am I being told it's not going to be ready until the day or more after that. I've also been told that a prescription has "just come through" so won't be ready until following day. And, yet again, the date proves that it has come through much earlier than I've been told. I understand that there may have been an influx of new customers or some other reason for the recent massive change in how things happen there. But there has been no explanation. And, worse, it would appear I've been lied to on numerous occasions. And whenever I seem put off by what's happening or shocked that I'm told to wait another day or two... Some off the staff are now treating me like I've done something wrong. I'm always polite and try to be understanding. I would expect staff in a customer service environment to try and be understanding too. I must add that this is not all of the staff. There is one member who is always a delight to see and speak to, always polite and respectful. An explanation as to why things have suddenly changed significantly would go a long way

    When visiting pharmacy at 5.30pm to pick up and urgent prescription sent through by GP at 5pm I gave my name to polite lady being counter. Lady behind computer stated " it's only just come through" abruptly then silence. After the other polite lady asked again what to do the lady abruptly said " she will have to wait 10 minutes". Not acknowledging the fact I was stood their all the while. It is not my fault that the prescription had only just came through nor do I expect such abruptness when not feeling well myself. People do not use a pharmacy unless necessary and do not expect to feel like you're a problem for a service you are paying for.
