My great grandson was taken to paediatric A&E late last night 12/3/25. His mum was given a prescription to get today 13/3 . I took the prescription to fairmans ( Benton Road ) . There was a discrepancy with the medication the pharmacist and the young man assisting had the ring the hospital. The pharmacy was very busy but the staff that were helping me with my great grandson prescription were keeping me updated with what was going on . I was asked if I would leave my phone number as the hospital needed to phone the pharmacy back . A while later the pharmacy phoned to say the medication that my 4 month old great grandson was wrong . If it hadn’t of been for the diligence of the staff at the pharmacy god knows what would have happened. We are totally relieved that we have kind and concerning staff available to help and look after our wellbeing. Thank you 🙏 I really hope this message reaches the pharmacy mentioned.

My 4 month old great grandson was taken to A&E where he was seen by a dr and given a prescription. I took the prescription up to airmen’s four lane ends . There was a discrepancy with the medication so the team at fairmans got in touch with A&E , they took my phone number , as they need the hospital to contact them . When the staff phoned me back the medication that had been prescribed was wrong . If it wasn’t for the diligent staff at Fairmens ( Benton road ) I dread to think what might have happened. Fantastic staff . I can’t praise the pharmacist & the young man who was more than helpful while dealing with the query . I do hope this reaches the staff at the pharmacy. Thank you 🙏

I've never had an issue. The staff were lovely. Every pharmacy has a waiting time, that's just how it is. Couldn't ask for any more, especially given the cuts to funding. In and out within 10 minutes, on a same day script.

Only fault is the rubbish on the floor, that gets blown in from outside. Waited outside until it opened at 09.00. On entering the shop, the floor was a disgrace. Dried dirt on the floor, lots of litter on the floor. Even rubbish on lower shelves. Shelves were really dusty. There is no excuse for this not sure who is responsible for cleaning the shop. It gives a bad impression, that no one cares. This needs to be sorted.

usually give 5 days to get meds ready ,some meds missing have to call back time and again,today long queue so left one lady had been waiting 25 mins for meds not satisfactory

In the past this practice had provided an excellent service but since their regular pharmacist left it has become totally chaotic. They seldom have your prescription ready even if they have had it for several days and make you wait in a queue when they dispense it. They never apologise for making you wait and the staff give the impression they really are not really bothered.
