  1. Review titled False information provided

Rated 1 star out of 5

I went in February to get medication. Pharmacist told me about prepayment prescriptions and gave me few options. Monthly, for 3 months and a yearly one. Since I don’t need medication every month I told her I want to just go for the monthly one which she assured me I can cancel after the first payment is taken since it’s a rolling contract and if I don’t cancel it will just keep rolling. When I came home I received an email from nhs which said it’s a one year contract so I called the pharmacy up and the same pharmacist told me over the phone that don’t worry about what it says on the email you can just cancel direct debit from your bank whenever you like. I cancelled after the first two payments and to my surprise the nhs sent me letter saying I owe them around £90 if I want to cancel because it’s a year contract. When I called nhs they told me the pharmacy left a lot of information out. I could cancel within the first 30 days of the contract which I didn’t even know. So be careful with this pharmacy

  2. Review titled Very poor service

Rated 1 star out of 5

I am on a repeat prescription but the medicine on my repeat prescription is not available with the pharmacy most of the time. I have been told that the medicine would be available on Thursday but I am still waiting for that Thursday. There have been multiple occasions when I went to the pharmacist with a prescription but I was not given the medicine because the person who was trained to dispense prescription drugs wasn't available. A key role deliverable for a pharmacist is to dispense prescription drugs and here we have a pharmacist who cannot dispense prescription drugs on being presented a prescription. This has happened on multiple occasions. The staff are least interested in providing quality service to their customers. They don't care. They are aware that they have not been able to provide me with my repeat prescription for several weeks but are least bothered. I have lived in multiple cities in the UK. This is by far the worst pharmacy.

  3. Review titled Above and beyond

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I had run out of repeat prescription and my former GP would not prescribe and new GP would not help as not yet cleared registration. 111 sent a temporary supply to this pharmacy for me. The pharmacist offered to call my former GP and get them to prescribe a two week supply for me to collect. This was so kind and helpful and I was not even a regular customer! Thank you. You are now my nominated chemist!
