   I called the pharmacy chasing a prescription for a family member after them being told twice that it wasn’t there. I knew it was at the pharmacy as I had tracked the prescription. The person on the phone first stated that it wasn’t there, when I explained it was she then said it had already been delivered. Again I corrected her saying it hadn’t been delivered or collected so she put me on hold to look for it. After a while she can’t back and ‘conveniently’ had found the item on the shelf! I asked why no one had previously found it to which she abruptly said ‘I don’t know why whatever was said as I wasn’t here!’ I responded with ok but maybe you could pass on feedback to your colleagues to look for an item like she had and it would avoid all this inconvenience for patients. She then said that she will have to terminate the call as I was being ‘abusive’ to which i interrupted her and asked if calls were recorded. She responded with ‘I don’t record the calls’ I responded with ‘I’m simply asking so you can listen to the calls and tell me at exactly what point I was abusive’ she replied with ‘look I have apologised what more do you want?’ I replied with ‘at no point of the conversation was an apology made’ I then asked for her name to which she refused to give her name. I then asked for the manager and she told me ‘wait’. The manager/pharmacist came to the phone…. Well let’s just say customer service is clearly lacking here. The pharmacist put the phone down on me… obviously I called back to say ‘I don’t appreciate having the phone put down on me’ to which his reply was ‘ok then’ and cut the call! Definitely will not be recommending the pharmacy to anyone!
