    The New staff here do not answer the phone at all when one rings. They advised me to ring them on the Thursday to remind them and check that my medication was in and that they need to deliver as housebound before I ran out at Christmas. One gets a welcome to Day Lewis greeting your call will be "answered shortly" then 50 seconds later all their lines are engaged and you are asked to try later and cut off. When I have asked about this in the past, blame was put on head office for the phone system and I was informed they only had one line. When my daughter went to collect my medication after Christmas she phoned them whilst waiting for the prescription 3 times and on no occasion did anyone behind the counter attempt to answer the phone. The old staff always answered and that has been my mechanism for ordering my medication. I will be looking for an alternative dispensing chemist shame as they are based in my GP's Practice.
