I under no circumstances would recommend this chemist, I went in for a prescription for my husband 3 months ago, when I asked for the prescription the women behind the counter barked at me saying did we text you to say it’s ready! Which they hadn’t and couldn’t because they didn’t have mine or my husband’s number, they eventually did half the prescription, after having given her a number said they would text when the rest was ready, that was 3 months ago! I gave up waiting and sourced the rest elsewhere. The entire time I was waiting the pharmacist was on the phone having a chat to a car mechanic about getting her car fixed, I thought that’s what the hr lunch break was for when the chemist is closed. Unfortunately I had to go in again today for urgent prescription only painkillers sent to them yesterday from my GP, they told me I would have to wait a week they would need to be ordered, when I pointed out they were urgent that changed to 3 days, there were numerous conversations backwards and forwards from the pharmacist to me all of which I was hearing twice as I was only 2ft away, it was beneath the pharmacist to actually have a face to face conversation with me, there were no other customers in the shop, they were not rushed off their feet, as they quite often seem to use as an excuse for everything. I took the prescription to a local supermarket in Melksham where the very polite pharmacist was not only dispensing the medication but also serving said it’ll be ready in 10 mins if you’d like to wait, a completely different experience, polite friendly and pleasant! having experienced both non urgent and urgent prescriptions in silver street I can honestly say they are the worst chemist I have ever used, awful customer service they are rude, lack empathy and are completely incompetent, what is the point in a chemist that can’t supply the items they are supposed to be selling, Bradford on Avon has 2 chemists they both have the same problem. We are constantly being told go to your chemist they will help, it does not fill me with confidence!

Went to buy a cough medicine, but they weren't expecting any stock until next day. Not helpful if you are ill, especially as their other branch in town was closed due to staff shortages
