  1. Review titled Lack of patient involvement

Rated 2 stars out of 5

Attended with my elderly Dad to collect a prescription for two new medications, given one of the medications and told ‘we owe you 28 of X tablets because we don’t have any’, 28 being the whole supply, meaning a new medication prescribed for a cardiac condition would not be provided. Now I have no issue with this, I understand that Pharmacies will run out of some medicines on occasion, it was more the issue that when I asked for the prescription to be returned so I could go to another pharmacy I was told ‘you can’t, we’ve already filled half the prescription’ when I insisted, stressing the urgency of my Dad having the drug, the lady serving snatched the half filled prescription for the counter and went off to speak to the pharmacist, subsequently they were able to provide a partial supply of the tablets to be going on with. I found it odd the pharmacist hadn’t approached us in the first place, before filling half a prescription to see if we wanted to go elsewhere, and then even more unfortunate that the person serving felt it OK to conduct themselves in the way they did, very little in the way of customer service. I’ve worked as a nurse in the NHS for over 20 years, I rarely complain because I understand the pressures that come with the job but on this occasion I felt compelled to write this, it left me with a bad feeling. Please remember Cromer Pharmacy that people using your service might be struggling to come to terms with changes to their health or have received bad news from their GP, I’m glad I was there on this occasion to advocate for my Dad.

Visiting the area and had forgotten my husband’s prescription drugs. The pharmacy staff were so helpful in dispensing a few days supply of his drugs to last for our stay. So grateful for their professionalism in our time of need.

  3. Review titled Quick, Professional and Friendly

Rated 5 stars out of 5

I have just returned from receiving a Flu Jab at Mill Road Pharamcy Cromer, a location new to me my experience was thoroughly enjoyable. Met and processed by a very organised and friendly man I was then vaccinated by a quick and dexterous medical professional before being sent on my way. A further friendly chat as I re-dressed in my motorcycle gear and I was back out the door again. A very positive experience, thank you.
