Firstly I must echo the sentiments of many others, who have written reviews of Cohens the chemists, why send a text saying your prescription will be ready on a certain date and time and it never is. I received a text on 16/02/24 saying my prescription would be ready after 4 on 20/02 to pick up, I decided to leave it until 21/02 arriving around 6. Unsurprisingly it was not ready and I was told it was being checked by the pharmacist( I’m always told this). I was then told by the assistant there was an item not included which they needed to order. When asked when they would have it I was told Friday 23/02, when asked if they could deliver it to me I was told that Cohens policy is not to deliver to anyone who is under the age of 60. Another assistant/pharmacist? then told me that it wouldn’t be there for Friday and that Cohens no longer deals with the manufacturer of the item but she could request this item through the spine (?) but she couldn’t say if this would be successful and I may be best asking my GP for an alternate. Why did the assistant tell me something which wasn’t correct?I asked how I would know if they had managed to find this item through the spine to which she replied I would need to check with them. When asked when should I check with them she couldn’t say, sarcastically I asked “Every day?” at this point her and her assistant went to the back of the pharmacy proceeding to switch the lights off and shut the blinds, the only other customer in the pharmacy said to me “ There not very good here “. At this point I left the pharmacy without being any the wiser as to when or if I would get the missing medication. Great customer service from Cohens again

Thank you for leaving this feedback. We are very sorry to read of the issues you have experienced with this pharmacy it is not the level of service we would expect our customers to receive. I have forwarded your feedback to the manager of the pharmacy and to the regional manager and asked them to look into and rectify the issues you have experienced. Big queue. Lady did not know where people's prescriptions were. Told an old man his was not there. Then told me mine wasn't there. Asked me when I put it in.Said I had already picked it up. I knew I hadn't. Goes in the back.Apparently they owed me something so they had it there all the time.Did this to an elderly friend of mine. Can they not let each other know that this is what they are going to do so customer is not stood waiting for 20 mins or to be told they don't have your items or that you picked it up already. Made to feel like your going crazy ?? Ridiculous service. Turning elderly people away to ring doctors again for prescriptions they have already got.
