Needed some urgent treatment for UTI, my own GP couldn’t fit me in and the walk in centre was 4 hours wait. My neighbour suggested going to the pharmacy. The pharmacist was very helpful and was given antibiotic, the whole thing took only 30 mins. Really pleased with the service.

3 times now the same chemist has been rude after waiting 45 minutes for prescription I asked how long do she threw my prescription on the floor and said go elsewhere second time she made me wait for half hour then today I turned up at 8:30 and was told no you aren’t allowed it till tomorrow even though she had served a person next to me and yet again was treated horribly they close at 9 pm it takes 5 minutes to get my perception it’s a repeat and they know i need it

Thank you for your feedback. Waiting time during busy period can take up to 45 minutes to 1 hour. We do encourage patients to call back and offer text message services to notify when prescriptions are ready collection. Our operation hours are from 9am till 9pm from Monday to Saturday and after 8pm, with only limited members of staff certain services takes priority. I have just been to the pharmacy and there was was at leased 10/12 in the queue this is happening all the time . Since the pandemic this pharmacy has gone from bad to worse. You must employ more staff !!!!

I’ve not used this pharmacy for about 18 months what’s happened to the place!!!They have no stock but you don’t find out this till you have waited in a que for 20 minutes no offering of trying to source the medication from some where else rubbish customer service lots of customers complaining I won’t be back

Thank you for your feedback. During a busy period, the expected waiting time is 15 to 30 minutes. Unless there is a life threatening situation, patients will have to wait for their turn to be served. Excellent service from the lovely lady who helped me. Extremely polite and lovely natured. The pharmacy was extremely busy, yet I never felt rushed whilst I was asking my questions. Would come back again for advice.

Just recently moved to Redcar and started using this pharmacy. I get a text informing me my prescription is ready! The staffs are ever so helpful answering queries! Defo recommend to others!

Came to the pharmacy to ask for advice for an eye infection. The staff member who served me was really helpful and they were even able to give me the eye drops I needed for free! Will definitely use again.

Used this pharmacy for the first time due to the proximity to the urgent care clinic. Staff were lovely; they dealt with people swiftly, warmly and professionally. They were informative and I would happily recommend to others.

This pharmacy has most definitely gone down hill it used to be so good with lovely staff who were very helpful.Been today for an antibiotic which they didn’t have they didn’t even offer to phone around to see if any other pharmacy had the medication I know they don’t have to do this but I would think it would be good practice to do so they used to do this for you this time last year they have always been so helpful there dosn’t seem to be any customer care now don’t know what’s happening to the place anyway I managed to source the antibiotic myself from another pharmacy I think I’ll be using them from now on !!!!

Me and my family have used this pharmacy for many years and have always found it so good,but in the last six months I’m not sure what has happened to the place all the lovely staff that have been there for years have all gone including the lovely gentleman the patient care used to be absolutely fantastic.All you get now is can you call back why would you want to when you are there now or sorry we have no stock so we will have to owe you that,this has included antibiotics which I needed to take straight away seen this pharmacy is an 100 hour pharmacy you would think they would be more accommodating I have now changed to a different chemist where I have had no problems at all!!
