Review titled Terrible Practise
Rated 1 star out of 5
by Gordon Scott - Posted on 07 April 2025
Had Covid 19 Jab at this practise in the past. This time I was told by the person who does jabs that I could not have it. This despite my Doctor and NHS England saying I was entitled. Could not believe how this arrogant and rude person behaved. I have witnesses and telephone recordings. A formal complaint is being made. Not a good pharmacy.

Thank you for your feedback. I would like to clarify that my role entails administering vaccines solely based on established eligibility criteria. I have no incentive to decline vaccination to anyone who qualifies; we only get paid for vaccines administered However, it is my responsibility to ensure that individuals are not subjected to an unnecessary procedure that carries it own risks. The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) carefully evaluates the balance of risks and benefits when determining the cohorts eligible for each COVID-19 vaccination campaign. For the Spring 2025 campaign, the focus is on individuals aged 75 and over or living in care homes as well as those who are immunosuppressed. Letters are to those who may be eligible and eligibility is verified prior to vaccination. As Healthcare professionals, we strive to perform our duties to the best of our ability and should be able to carry out our duties without fear of being maligned or subjected to distressing behaviour by anyone.
